I was waiting for them to fix the driving physics from the first one. This version looks gorgeous and from the reviews, the car handling seems much more spot on.

Owning the first two God of War games was the reason for me to buy a release 60GB PS3. I was not about to loose the ability to play these two games. I'd now be willing to loose the backward compatibility feature from my release PS3 for the new Slim version that runs way cooler and wouldn't run the fan in my AV stack.

Really looking forward to this. Loved DQ 8 on the PS2 and am currently playing DQ 5 on the DS.
