I remember looking at one screen and seeing that I had fought over 900 battles. I never figured out the hour count. But even if the battles were all 15 minutes that is over 200 hours of play time.
Played it, modded it, loved it (note: the mod was a total disaster, live and learn)
Last I checked I had logged over 166 hours.
Probably over 80 hours with this one. Just as playable as Civilization II but I was older and had more games (and a girlfriend) to distract me from this gem.
I know it is not a great game like the others on this list but it is very addictive. The in game achievements like qualify from every continent, win the cup from every continent, beat every country in the world, along with the excellent game play kept me coming back.
