It was such a long wait, but it was well worth it. This charming puzzle game just kept me playing for the duration.
One of the best platforming games for many years. More fun with more players. Wii U version recommended.
A Metal Gear game made by Platinum Games? SOLD! Seriously though, the great/dumb/OTT story, amazing combat and great soundtrack entertained me for many hours. Also, that final boss battle.
Say what you want about it being a film or a game. I enjoyed it either way for what is was. A fantastic experience.
Okay, so it came out in 2011 but only now have I gotten deep into the game. The combat and desire to beat the odd's are what keeps me playing no matter how many time I die. The atmosphere the game creates is ace.
This is what an expansion pack should be. Take note everyone else.

Not far in, but I am hooked. The turn based strategy element, the desire to keep you squad alive, you don't want to lose anyone.
I've never really been into the Devil May Cry series, but with it's highly accessible combat system, great story and a fleshed out world it became one of the most enjoyed action/combat games this year.
