I <3 Fallout 3 and have easily logged more than 140 hours playing it. As much as I liked Oblivion, it really becomes a decision between Fantasy and SciFi. In my case, SciFi wins. Couple that with amazing continued support (DLC packs and patches) from the publisher/developer and you have an amazing game, regardless of it being buggy at times.
It was a toss up between this and Fallout 3 for first place, and Fallout 3 only won out by the continued support Bethesda gave to it.
I might as well just put the whole Mass Effect trilogy into second place. An amazing game that fixes a number of the technical problems of the first; I've sank almost 40 hours on my first playthrough looking for everything I can.
It's Rock Band 2. Possibly the best party game ever.
The _worst_ part of Dead Space is that I had to play it in smaller sections because I found it to be too intense.
So good, immediately jumped back for another new game . Awesome game, great franchise.
One of my all time favorite 360 games. No matter how much it lacked in story and all of its other flaws, the levelling system is like crack. To me, it's STILL the Super Mario of super hero games.
Speaking of crack, let's add the WoW of FPSs. Once again, a flawed game (even less of a story than Crackdown), but the WoW loot and quest structures make this one of the best games in my collection.
