Games completed in 2011

From January - December, here is the list of games I completed in 2011.

Showing 1-10 of 27 items

Fable III

1. Fable III

A very big disappointment for a franchise that I wish would try a little harder to inovate instead of hand hold.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

2. Call of Duty: Black Ops

It's Call of Duty...you shoot people...there's a story in it somewhere, and it's a grossly over rated franchise.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

3. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

A great addition to the series that continues to make Ezio one of the coolest assassins in fiction - and yes - he's better then Altair.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm

4. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm

Being a fan of the anime I played this game while watching so i had to have regular breaks where I'd catch up to the story and where i was at in the anime. It looks like the anime and is fun as hell to play.

Dead Space 2

5. Dead Space 2

Throwing subtle scares out the window i found myself narrowing my eyes and screaming "C'mon!" as far to many aliens popped out of the air vents around me to say 'hi'. Still a great addition to the series - I just wish they hadn't set up another sequel in the final minutes of the game.

Dead to Rights: Retribution

6. Dead to Rights: Retribution

A game that was cheap to buy. And for a cheap game - it was pretty good fun. Think modern day spin on dirty harry and give him a bad ass canine companion that seems to REALLY like to bite criminals in the junk.

Bulletstorm

7. Bulletstorm

Proving that dick jokes can be funny, bulletstorm was a great experience for both its jokes and its gameplay.

Dragon Age II

8. Dragon Age II

Haters gonna hate. I know, i know. It wasn't what people wanted from the franchise but i still think Dragon age 2 was a great game. It added some well written and well designed companions and for me to start a second playthrough not that long ago and still love it...it's testiment that although different it still has its merits as an RPG.

Crysis 2

9. Crysis 2

Squid! Squid are everywhere! Admitedly I was at a handicap when playing this game as I had 0 experience with the original - meaning i had no idea what the hell was going on. Not to mention i was very taken a back that we had a silent protagonist in this day and age...even with guns pointed directly at his face at point blank range - silence...

Mafia II

10. Mafia II

In my opinion a better representation of an open world game then LA Noire. If you wanna be's a wise guy - this is the game to play. Least there was more to do in the city then look for film reels.
