Sadly it was another poor year for gaming with too many disappointing sequals but none the less, here we go, here's my much 'anticipated' top 10 games of 2013.

You know it's a bad year when your favourite game of the year is the worst of a 4 part franchise. This game wasn't made by Epic but was instead given to the People Can Fly team. Some of the changes they made were for the better, but the majority were either forgetable, head scratching or just plan worse. Here's hoping Gears of War doesn't turn into the fiasco that is now the Halo series and the main Epic team work their magic and make the next sequal.
Devil May Cry is one of my all time top franchises. I could quite happily sit there and play through Devil May Cry 1,3,4 multiple times a year and still not get bored of it. By the time i'd finished with DmC and replayed the levels enough to get some of the top leaderboard scores i was well and truely done with the game. So many of the things that made Devil May Cry good have been removed from this version and much of the combat is just plan broken and easily abusable to the point it sucks nearly all the skill and fun out of playing. This game would make Devils Cry.
A valiant effort at rebooting the franchise. With the next Tomb Raider game if they could spend less time on working out how 'perky' they should make Lara's chest and more time on making actual tombs with interesting and challenging puzzles then they'll be on to a winner.
Well it still might not be quite like playing the real thing, but as each year goes by it's getting closer and closer to it. The mechanics are all in place it's just the card content that's lacking, still managed to finish top 10 in the world on the leaderboards this year so that's something i guess.
I was really worried about this game with all of its delays and the hype was so unbelievably high it was never going to be able to live up to it, but still Bioshock Infinite was a very solid game that had its moments in both story and gameplay and was one of the better games released this year.
The year that Pro Evo doesn't make my top 10 list is the year you know something has hideously gone wrong with me. The next time you see me check to see if it's really me, i might have been replaced by body snatchers from another world who have poor taste in gaming.
Anybody that knows me, knows i loves me some Sci-fi and i loves me some survival horror. Put the two together and i'm like an Alien bursting through your chest at the dinner table, you just try and keep me away. Sadly the looming shadow of EA has ruined this latest installment of Dead Space by 'pimping' it out with endless money grabbing micro transactions and turning the main core of the gameplay into a fish in a barrel shootfest.
This is the 3rd Grand Theft Auto game i've played and i still don't get what all the fuss is about. Sure the story is decent but the gameplay is nothing special. 30+ million seller? I guess everybody else secretly wants to be a 'gangstaaaaaa'.
Oh Saints Row IV, you started off so well! Yet when you actually got into the matrix (cough i'm sorry meant to say Stilwater) the game fell apart with a terrible frane rate and gameplay which was nothing more than a repetitive collection of mini games disguised as 'missions'.
I must give the Fifa team credit, i really don't know how they manage to do it year in year out..... they've managed to make the latest version even worse than the previous years one. That's 4 years in a row now, you're on a roll, good job guys.
