Demon's Souls

1. Demon's Souls

OMG. Unbelievely addictive and engrossing. I don't know why, but even my daughter has played over 100 hours on it. Say no more.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

2. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

OK, SO it's starting to show its age, but wow. What a game. Great DLC too.

Grand Theft Auto IV

3. Grand Theft Auto IV

If ever there was a dirty, realistic, fascinating world to mess around in....

Project Gotham Racing 3

4. Project Gotham Racing 3

Racing games? I don't play those....Oh wait....I got a new projector and this just blew me away. Even though it took me weeks to learn how to drift (Hi Brad!) it was still unbelievablely addictive. And arcade machines in the garage?! Genius!

Football Manager 2011

5. Football Manager 2011

Being UK based I've been a fan since this series was in nappies. My wife hates it. Enough said.

Resident Evil 4

6. Resident Evil 4

Wow. Another ground-breaking game. Played in on the GC until my disk got scratched. Bought it on the Wii and played it again with all the extra content too. Superb.

Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle

7. Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle

Simply the best adventure game in history. I've played it through a dozen times and still love it. One game you simply have to seek out.

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time

8. Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time

Really, I could have picked any of the Ratchet and Clank games, but this one was the most recent. Polished to the Nth degree and the best voice acting ever. Ever, you hear me?!

inFamous

9. inFamous

Hmmm. Some liked it, some hated it. It had some problems, but overall it was fantastic fun. Fun enough for me to spend 30+ hours on it.

Crackdown

10. Crackdown

What can you say. It was an incredibly simple game, but those orbs are seriously addictive. They certainly got the name right!
