Game of the Year 2012 One of the most beautiful experiences of the Generation. Moved me to tears and inspired me all at once, brilliant game.
This game is very smooth, the gameplay flows very well, the platforming is effortless and fun, the puzzles are nice little pace changers, and the world and characters are likeable. Tie that all together with an amazing score by Jasper Kyd and you have a quality title. This is also the swan song of THQ and it's sad to see both the publisher go and the series fate left unknown. ****
A short but soul shattering adventure. The game is great from start to finish and is one of the more emotionally taxing games I played. The combat is your typical 3rd person shooter fare and can get repetitive but the visuals, music, story, characters and good game design were more then enough to keep me from wanting to stop playing. Gameplay wise it's a dime a dozen, but as an overall experience it's quite unique. Loved every minute of it and will stay with me long after finishing it. Awesome soundtrack as well. * * * * *
A great follow up to Remedy's old franchise, this game has more of a Die Hard flavour to it, some will enjoy it others not so much. Personally I thought it was a great video game, and I am looking forward to what will be next in the franchise. ****

( in progress ) I have heard about this game quite a bit and how an improvement it was over the previous games, but it's only until you actually play it that you see how true it actually is. This is one of the finest open world FPS games to date, you could say skyrim with guns but it's not enough. Have not finished it but it's one of those games that just going aimlessly in the world will still entertain you immensely. Solid * * * *
(unfinished) Diversity is something that I like, and there are very few games like XCOM on consoles, and the fact that the game exists on these machines and that it actually works is a godsend. Not a game for everybody, the game is quite slow but it makes up with a great element of strategy and amazing atmosphere. Hopefully more strategy games will come to consoles in the future.
