    You say Tyouna and Pyouma? It's not spelled that way either.
     
    If we were to pronounce words with the how you say the letter, then Tuna would be Teyouenay, or Puma would be Peeyouemay.

    I came across this. It should clear up the confusion.  However, since they are a French company, and the French pronounce the letter U like ou or ew, I still say oubisoft.

    I've always called it You-Bee-Soft. I assumed the Ooo-Bee-Soft was a weird American thing. Americans pronounce everything wrong.

    I'm just wondering if it isn't some sort of slight/insult they did knowingly.

    They know that they've some of the very finest, most compelling games in the industry.

    They know that it takes hours and hours of play, sitting in front of a computer,

    not getting out, getting sun, fresh air and exercise, meeting people and forming/maintaining relationships.

    So what to they call their company?

    You-Be-Soft!!!

    I guess it's better than You-Be-Loser!
