The Changer of Ways, born of ambition, hope, and the desire for change. Tzeentch is the master of sorcery and feeds upon dynamic mutation and grand, convoluted schemes.

Tzeentch listens to the plans and hopes of every mortal across all of time and space. He seeks to subvert their ambitions and twist the course of history to achieve his own great convoluted plan that is beyond the comprehension of the mortal mind. He is usually depicted as a serpent that writhes and twists in a state of constant change, a motif that is carried over into his symbol.

The greater daemon of Tzeentch, The Lord of Change, usually manifests in the form of a winged avian humanoid of immense intelligence and capable of wielding tremendous magical and psychic powers.

Tzeentch has a rivalry with his brother God Nurgle, their rivalry stemming from Tzeentch's ambition to change and evolve, and Nurgle's want for destruction and plague. Their forces often meet in the field of battle, almost as often as they clash against the Imperium of Man. In the rare times that the Chaos Gods due team-up for some diabolical scheme, it is Tzeentch who brings about these alliances for Chaos Undivided.

Tzeentch is considered to hold the most influence over his brother Gods of Chaos.
