Professional Relationship with Laura Bailey
While not romantically involved, Troy and Laura are good friends, and often star in a number of video-games and anime together. Their characters usually share some sort of relation as well, be it as friends, lovers or at the very least playing equal parts of the supporting cast. The most notary games were they've shared the proverbial limelight would be Persona 4 (Troy as Kanji Tatsumi; Laura as Rise Kujikawa) and Catherine (Troy as Vincent Brooks; Laura as the titular Catherine), with many more spanning across their career. Troy Baker is best friends with Travis Willingham, who was in fact Baker's best man for his Games of Thrones'-themed wedding.
Controversy
On July 22, 2015 Troy Baker retweeted a joke on Twitter made by Brian W. Foster. The joke's content in question was ''Brett Michaels looks like Mickey Rourke tried to become Caitlyn Jenner''. The retweet then resulted in Baker receiving a significant number of complaints from fans over twitter, as the joke was interpreted as being transphobic in nature - the joke tweet was soon deleted.
Baker responded to the erupting controversy on twitter with ''It's a shame when there are people who would much rather choose to be offended than laugh'', which primarily resulted in more ire and harassment, though also lead to the short lived hashtag of #IStandWithTroy that was created by his continued supporters. Within the same day, Troy then finally made one last tweet stating, ''I quit twitter''.
Troy eventually 'returned' to Twitter on October 10th.
