The Final Round, known in Japan as Eikou no Fairway: Virtual Golf Simulation and in Europe as Konami Open Golf, and not to be confused with Konami's 1988 boxing game of the same name, is a 3D golf simulation game developed and published by Konami (Company) for the Sony PlayStation in Japan on June 21, 1996, in North America on August 31, 1996, and in Europe on November 1996. Part of the Konami XXL Sports Series (Franchise), The Final Round features real-time polygonal 3D graphics for both the course and the golfer and puts players as one of six golfers (each with their own stats in power, technique, stability and luck) in a fictional course.
