Overview

Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Chess Wars is a digital chess game developed and published by Capstone for DOS & Windows PCs in 1993.

A licensed spin-off of the 1992 chess adaptation Grandmaster Chess, Chess Wars is a traditional chess game with pieces represented by characters from the 1991 film Terminator 2: Judgment Day, with White representing the human resistance and Black representing the machine uprising. Similar to Battle Chess, players can enable hand-drawn animation for all pieces in both their movement and attacks, with all attacks playing an animation unique for each combination of pieces.

It was later included as a bonus in the CD-ROM Edition of Grandmaster Chess.
