A burst of electricity is sent via two wires into an attackers body, instantly disabling. Although designed as a non-lethal weapon, some villains found it to be little less non-lethal than expected!

Description

Tasers, by definition fire wired darts that hook to a victim's flesh and the weapon generates electricity to stun/incapacitate the target, these weapons are used for riot control or self defense and have small amount of shots, the wires grants them only a short range of use. Similar devices with no wire are called a Stungun (Object) or Cattle Prod (Object). One notable video game series to feature a rather sadistic taser weapon was the Syphon Filter (Franchise) series in which the player could shoot a wire with seemingly unlimited length towards a target and shock them until rendered unconscious. If the player held the button down long enough, the target would emit smoke and burst into flame while screaming in agony.
