Talisman Prologue
The first of a series of adaptations of the fantasy-themed board game Talisman, focused on single-player play. Embark on quests as one of several generic fantasy characters.
Overview
Talisman Prologue is a high-fantasy virtual board game developed and digitally published by Nomad Games (Company) for the PC (Platform) on November 22, 2012, with a Steam (Concept) release on October 14, 2013. It also received a mobile port for iOS and Android (Platform) devices (on April 25, 2013 and May 1, 2013 respectively). It was later removed from storefronts sometime in 2019. It is the second adaptation of the fantasy-themed board game Talisman, after the obscure 1985 ZX Spectrum adaptation, and the first based on its revised 4th Edition. Unlike the main board game, this adaptation focuses on single-player play and has players embarking on quests as one of several generic fantasy characters. The game later received a traditional multiplayer adaptation with Talisman: Digital Edition, and later received an updated single-player adaptation with Talisman: Origins.
