    Overview

    "SuperLite" refers to multiple series of budget-priced Japanese games published by Success. Similar to the Simple series, the price of the game were generally in-line with what is stated on the cover (for example, the "SuperLite 1500" series were released close to 1500¥).

    Along with original titles, usually simple titles (such as table games), the series includes some budget Japanese game re-releases (such as Cotton Original, Lode Runner: The Legend Returns, Asteroids, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater).

    There are five different types of SuperLite games:

    • SuperLite 1500 Series for the PlayStation. Later, they released three-game bundles, known as SuperLite 3in1 Series, for a slight discount (close to 2800¥). They also had a premium line, known as SuperLite Gold Series.
    • SuperLite 2500 Series for the PlayStation 2.
    • SuperLite 2500 Series for the Nintendo DS.
