Lite on content yet still packed full of fun 0

Visual wise this game is really impressive.Star Wars: Battlefront takes up the banner for Destiny 1.0 of being the best 3 star game I've played this year. Upfront this game has no story and is just about working with your teammates to take down the enemy team. Although it may not have a single player campaign DICE spent a lot of time on making this game look like Star Wars. Between the sounds of a blaster or the gigantic AT-AT everything in this game looks like you remember. This is augmented wi...

Bowing down to the Dark Side since 2004 0

I can’t think of a licensed franchise that carries more weight than the Star Wars brand. The universe alone allows for so many consumer passes, particularly in the realm of video games. For instance, I’m not convinced The Force Unleashed was actually a good game, but I enjoyed it because of its implementation of the Star Wars franchise. 2015’s Star Wars: Battlefront is in that same general category for me. I’ve had a blast with this game since the day it was released, and...

Star Wars: Battlefront is Fun, But Feels a Little Lacking 0

The release of one of this year’s more anticipated shooters has come across as pretty divisive. Understandably since, after all, Star Wars: Battlefront is lacking in areas that previous entries to the series and even some of this years other releases aren’t. The game has almost nothing resembling single player outside of some training missions and a lacklustre horde mode, and what is present in the multiplayer, while fun, is a little light. The game doesn’t come across as some...

    "It's Them! Blast Them!" 0

First off if you knew what this review was about by just reading the quote then you are a true Star Wars fan, bravo! Funny business aside this was my most anticipated game of the year for many reasons. I consider myself to be a big Star Wars fan and to actually be able to play as my favorite characters in a video game is extremely exciting to me. The game was developed by EA DICE, with help from Criterion Games, published by Electronic Arts, and distributed by Lucasfilm Ltd. Now that you know ho...

Star Wars Battlefront - Great tech demo but a terrible game 0

I love Star Wars with a burning passion. Everything about the original trilogy is perfect, George Lucas had created some of the most memorable characters and set pieces in the history of cinema, and John Williams is equally to blame for the quality of the series because he is responsible for creating the most symphonic and uplifting score in any movie ever. So when you create a piece of Star Wars media you have every advantage in the world to create something incredible, and from a technical sta...

Star Wars: Battlefront - In the Dark Times 0

Guys...Battlefront depresses me. Not exactly because it's bad. Quite the contrary in fact. But When you place this new Battlefront up against the original two released in the last decade, it's a prime example of how much our gaming culture and what we expect from our games has devolved. And I'm not even talking just about price, although a $50 Season Pass is inexcusable on it's own.I'm taking how we now sit in the year 2015, and there people singing praises of a game that, with this amount of co...

Just call it "Star Wars: Battlefield". 0

DICE's revival of Pandemic's "Star Wars: Battlefront" is similar to their own "Battlefield" in both gameplay and structure. Perhaps the best thing about it is how it faithfully replicates the battles from the original "Star Wars" trilogy. Its top notch presentation perfectly captures the look and feel of the classic films. While the game does not feature a story mode, it does include maps and modes that can be played online and off. Unfortunately for a DICE game, it is lacking in depth. There is...
