In addition to being released as a UMD disc, Sonic Rivals was eventually released as a downloadable title on Playstation Network for PSP. It is available by itself or as a bundle that includes both Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2 (Game).
Playable characters
In Sonic Rivals, you can choose from 5 different characters to play as.
Zones
- Sonic Rivals contains 6 zones.
- Each zone contains 2 acts and a boss act.
- The stage layouts are the same for each character. Furthermore, all characters go through the zones/acts in the same order.
