we got a light covering where I am in MA over the weekend, the next day it was 55 degrees and has maintained since then... Gimme dat snow sir.
I thought this thread was going to be about that cocaine or the rapper Snow.
Actual snow though is a nice sight for the holidays. Too bad we never get any here.
Is what first popped into my head. In Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada we probably won't get anything like that until January, if ever. We're pretty protected from most elements and possible causes of apocolypse, including the snowpocolypse.

It's been chaos here in Sweden. Takes forever to get to work with all this snow. We got about half a meter (2 feet) of snow
Yeah! And the fact that people are dying is not good at all.

@Fruitcocoa: Where is that?
Vara, Sweden.
Yea it's snowed once here in Colorado and its totally 70 degrees here today, the fuck is going on indeed. It was 70 degrees yesterday, in Philadelphia.
I don't know what the fuck is going on.
I'm so glad I moved to Florida, I'm fucking sick of it after living through long winters in western Maryland. Plus I'm glad I missed that shitstorm Sandy that brought several feet of snow in the area a while back.
Here in Uppsala, Sweden we've just had one of the worst snow storms in years probably. First time in my life EVERY single bus in the entire region was shut down and the train company, SJ, just gave up on trying to get people to their destination on time. In Stockholm, some train trips that are usually 20 minutes or so took about 3 hours.
Doubt I'll be making it to school tommorow at this rate. Hardly made it home today.
Oh yeah, and it's still going outside. Amazingly, we haven't had a power outage today. Instead we had it yesterday and only for a short while. Very strange.
Yup, there's a lot of snow here but it's been sunny during the past days so it's like living in a Disney christmas special... complete with talking animals, sing-along-long and no sex.

It's not here in Michigan... I wonder if we'll get a real winter this year. There was barely a week last year where snow covered the ground, which is unusual, because isually it's 3+ months of constant coverage.
Those Mayans might be right about the end of the world. I played golf yesterday, In sixty degree weather, in Michigan, in December. WEIRD.
At first the snow is pretty and gives a holiday feeling, but when it starts to melt, man, if the snow was a person I would stab him in the eyes.
When I was in my Freshman year of college,it got cold at the end of October and people were freezing and wearing jackets on into March. I remember walking from the IT help desk, where I work, to my car at 7PM every evening and having to turn on the heat for a minute or two so I could warm my hands up. I didn't bother buying any gloves because I'm a cheap bastard.
Last year, my Sophomore year, I barely even saw my breath. I don't think it ever stayed in the 40's for more than a few days, and this winter it's barely dropped down that low. I hate it. I love seeing snow and love feeling the cold in the Winter. I guess I'm weird or something, but those were my favorite times of the year and it seems like we're not going to get that around here this year. It was like 70 degrees a few days this week, what the fuck is wrong?

You snow apologists make me sick. DOWN WITH SNOW!
Yeah, fuck snow! I like living in the north east, but I only find June, July and August enjoyable. I love the summer. I look better, I feel better and few things in life make me happier than the beach and the ocean. Winter: It's cold, everything is dead, the barren trees and bleak skies remind one of a post-apocalyptic movie, it starts to get dark at 4 PM, snow results in terrible driving conditions, having to shovel my walkway and deck, hiring someone to plow my driveway, losing power for days, lack of vitamin D, ice, having to suit up as if I was about to embark on an Antarctic expedition just to walk my dog, staying fit via running is a pain and having to wear socks all the god damn time! /rant
Remember, only the tan survive (or die from skin cancer)!
How many of you on this board have never seen snow in real life? Speak up you cowards.

We had snow but it melted. Your picture reminds me of Let the Right One In.

Global warming? I don't know. It was 60 yesterday here in New York, but it rained in the morning. How am I getting rain and not snow? Soon, there will be no more winter.
It snowed for one day here in Boston then was gone the next day...
I can't Wait for more!!
WINTER > SUMMER
Weather forecast here is promising me snow.
I need to find a guy for the holidays and take long romantic walks in the snow again. I love the snow so much I'm seriously considering moving to a country with regular snowfall.
