The slime is one of the enemies in the Dragon Quest series, known for its blue teardrop-shaped body with a smiling face. It is the first enemy to appear in the Dragon Quest, and has appeared in every subsequent Dragon Quest game.
The slime eventually became the star of his own series of games such as (Slime MoriMori series for the Nintendo DS) .
A slime shaped controller was made for Dragon Quest VIII for the Playstation 2 by Hori.
Slime also appeared in three crossover games with Nintendo: Itadaki Street DS (Game), Mario Sports Mix (Game), and Fortune Street (Game).
