Overview

A rogue-like deck building game. Players move from room to room, fighting monsters, collecting treasure, and adding new cards to their decks in an attempt to survive while creating the best deck to do so.

Characters

Players can choose from one of four playable characters.

Ironclad

A warrior-type hero, the first unlocked by default, the Ironclad starts with the highest HP (80) of all four characters. The Ironclad starts off with the Burning Blood Relic, which heals 6 HP at the end of a battle. The player can customize their deck for many different strategies with the Ironclad, but this hero focuses on building up Block to survive enemy attacks, or building up Strength to end battles sooner before enemies get the chance.

Silent

A deadly huntress who starts with a low HP of 70. The Silent starts off with the Ring of the Snake Relic, letting her draw 2 extra cards at the start of combat. Rather than brute force, the Silent prefers multiple quick strikes while poisoning her enemies and weakening their attack power. The Silent specializes in various cards that let her discard some or all of her hand to gain extra cards that are advantageous to her, and extra energy to keep piling on the damage before her enemy has a chance to react.

Defect

An automaton with the unique skill to channel Orbs that cast spells at the end of a turn. The Defect starts with 75 HP and the Cracked Core Relic that lets it channel 1 Lightning Orb at the start of each combat. To get the most out of the Defect will require planning around the different types of Orbs that can be channeled to protect itself from attack or build up damage that releases in bursts.

Watcher

A blind monk who uses unique Stances in combat to get the most out of her attacks and skills. The Watcher starts with 72 HP and the Pure Water Relic, which adds a free Miracle card to the player's hand at the start of combat. With the use of Scrying, Retained cards, and generating Energy for herself, the Watcher can become the most powerful of the four selectable heroes when built properly.
