Skins Game
GAME » on 2000
An arcade golf game in the vein of other Midway titles like NBA Jam or NFL Blitz.

Overview

Released in 2000, Skins Game was a golf simulator which allowed players to play up to 18 holes of golf on three different courses. The game had four different game modes:

  • Tournament mode, which utilized the Midway Tournament Network allowing for competitive online play (while the service was still maintained.)
  • Competitive mode, which was a standard game of golf with control over the back and forward spin.
  • Extreme mode, which added air control to competitive mode.
  • Hole-in-One contest.

All of the game modes featured power-ups such as "power shots", mulligans and exploding golf balls.
