A potted plant grown indoors for decorative purposes.

The mine detector is an instrument used by soldiers and armies to help them detect the metal in hidden land mines. This device is sometimes essential in video games in order to avoid massive damage.

Mushroom is the familiar term used to describe a gilled fungus which may or may not bear a stem. Mushrooms are the "fruit" of spore bearing fungi.
A thin pointy piece of metal that is used to fasten materials.
A brightly lit indication of what lies within. Most neon signs are glass tubes containing electrically charged noble gases, to produce a variety of colors.

Paper is a thin material made of plant fibres, used to write or print upon. In terms of Rock, Paper, Scissors; it defeats rock, but is defeated by scissors.
A telephone is a device used to communicate verbally with another person over a long distance. Audio signals travel to and from both phones involved, allowing the users to hold a conversation in real-time.
