I'm a long-time Nintendo fan since the days of the NES although I'm a definite multiplatform gamer. My favorite genres are Action Adventure, RPG, Platformers and Survival Horror. I'm also a huge retro gamer and I play through classic games on a normal basis. I currently write in the video game media for www.videogamesblogger.com and serve as co-creator and head contributor for content on VGB. I am a strong Christian conservative whose interests outside of gaming include:
Following politics and news. Fox News is my home and I follow Bill O'Reilly religiously. My other favorite programs are Special Report with Bret Baier and to a lesser extent Hannity and On the Record with Greta Van Sustren. Favorite TV shows of mine include Smallville, Gilmore Girls and Power Rangers (my actual list is too long to post, check my myspace). I also read quite often, mostly non-fiction. I love to read stories written by Middle Eastern women and from people who live in circumstances that are so extraordinarily different than my own in the United States.
I'm a huge Christian metal fan and I probably listen to music as much as I play video games, I'd consider it my second main hobby and I purchase new albums on a regular basis. Metal is my favorite genre and my favorite bands include: Demon Hunter, The Showdown, As I Lay Dyng, Blessed By A Broken Heart, UnderOath, Skillet, Flyleaf, The Famine, Emery, Family Force 5, Virginia Creeper, P.O.D., House of Heroes, Norma Jean, Project 86, Superchick, Thousand Foot Krutch, Joy Electric, Savior Machine, The Ascendicate, Bride, Turniquet, dc Talk, TAIT, Stacie Orrico and the Christian rap acts Mars iLL, RedCloud, LeCrae, Trip Lee, Vocab Malone, Coo-B, Playdough, Tunnel Rats, etc. Favorite ecular artists including Disturbed, Kelly Clarkson, Good Charlotte, All That Remains, Killswitch Engage and Michael Jackson.
Other hobbies include playing basketball and racquetball, and writing. I am a person that loves deep conversations as opposed to idle chit chat and I enjoy going to church and having Bible Studies and conversations about religion and politics (talk about it around the kitchen table, please!). I also spend a huge amount of time chatting via IM with my close online friends and texting on my cellphone.
I can ALWAYS be found on my laptop. If I'm not there, chances are I'm in the bathroom . . . . probably with my laptop. ;) Or a portable game device . . . or a magazine . . . or maybe even a book!

Newest Albums: I just bought Project 86's last album (from 2009) called " Picket Fence Cartel" and it's AMAZING. I have The Showdown's 4th studio album, " Blood in the Gears", pre-ordered (it releases on August 24th!). The next album I purchase will either be " There Will Be Violence", the third studio album from Christian death metalers Impending Doom (I particular want this Impending Doom 3-Album Discography Collection along with this There Will Be Violence LP Vinyl), " The Powerless Rise", the 4th studio album from As I Lay Dying (The Powerless Rise As I Lay Dying Deluxe Fan Boxset is on my wishlist) or " Attack of the Wolf King" from Haste the Day. I'm also planning on finding the rare Picket Fence Cartel vinyl LP to add to my small vinyl collection. Only 500 of them were pressed! Another album I want is War of Ages newest, Eternal. I've heard good things and it is their 5th studio album.
