Silver is a futuristic hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He made his debut appearance in 2006's Sonic The Hedgehog and has psychic powers.

Silver the Hedgehog is from many years in the future of the main timeline. His introductory appearance is in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). His individual episode revolves around him traveling back in time with with Blaze the Cat (Character) to find Sonic the Hedgehog (Character), known to them as the "Iblis Trigger", who they believe is the cause of their world being destroyed in the future. Over the course of the game, Silver learns the truth about the "Iblis Trigger", and how his world can be saved from destruction.

Silver is also one of the main characters in Sonic Rivals (Game) and Sonic Rivals 2 (Game). He is unlockable in the party modes of both Sonic and the Secret Rings (Game) and Sonic andamp;amp;amp; The Black Knight and is unlockable as a playable character in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. He is also in Mario andamp;amp;amp; Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games as one of the 2 new playable characters in Team Sonic. (Considering he makes a return in Mario andamp;amp;amp; Sonic at the London Games, it's likely he's a series staple.) He also appears alongside other characters in Sonic Colors for DS. In what is considered to be Silver's most important role in half a decade, Silver appears in Sonic Generations (Game) as a boss, using psychokinesis to launch cars at Sonic as he runs through Crisis City.

Characteristics

Silver is a young rash hedgehog but shares some personality similarities with Sonic. Like Sonic he is always up for a challenge and defends the ones who can’t defend themselves. Silver has been described as immature and naïve by Blaze, Silver also has strong sense of justice and believes in doing the right thing at the best of times.

Abilities

Silver can run at extremely fast speeds, rivalling the speed of Shadow and Sonic. He can also use the spin attack and homing attack. Silver is also psychokinetic, he can use this ability to throw his enemies great distances and very hard. He can also projects psychokinetic blast which are very powerful and can be used to stun or deal heavy damage to enemies. Silver can also teleport short distances using his advanced Psychic powers...

Secret Ability

As Silver gets stronger, his E.S.P powers increase, and when his power is ultimately full he unleashes critical blows of E.S.P light and turns parts of his body invisible while visible parts glow strongly.
