Siegmeyer of Catarina

CHARACTER

A wandering knight encountered throughout Dark Souls.

Siegmeyer of Catarina is a wandering NPC first encountered on the steps of Sen's Fortress. It is possible to skip past encounters with Siegmeyer, but if the player chooses to help him they will be rewarded with items over the course of the game. Siegmeyer will occasionally help out with combat and other problems during the player's journey.

His daughter Sieglindehas a parallel questline, which later becomes intertwined with Siegmeyer's.

The locations Siegmeyer is encountered are in order:

Locations
1	Sen's Fortress	Siegmeyer is sitting out the front of the gate.
2	Sen's Fortress	On a ledge where the rolling boulders are first encountered.
3	Anor Londo (Location)	Inside the castle after the bonfire and past the first few Silver Knight spawns.
4	Firelink Shrine (Location)	Waiting at the bonfire.
5	Blighttown (Location)	In the swamp not far from the entrance of The Great Hollow.
6	Lost Izalith (Location)	Just before the Poison Marsh, in the room where the floor collapses.
7	Ash Lake	The bonfire after The Great Hollow.

If Seigmeyer survives the final Ash Lake encounter Seiglinde will reward the player with a Titanite Slab.

Upon death Seigmeyer drops: 3 Humanity and the Speckled Stoneplate Ring

Siegmeyer's armor, the Catarina set, is available for purchase from the Crestfallen Merchant in Sen's fortress for 34,000 souls.
