Dan looks like a tiny Vinny in the preview with that haircut.

I like the shaved head look on Dan, the semi balding look wasn't a good one, the buzz cut beard combo looks nice.

Been playing with it for a bit now, and these types of demos would be the thing to get me into all this VR hype finally. Also, Youtube supporting 360 degree videos today made me spin around in my chair watching it on my phone going the future is here.

To be honest, "This Must Be The Place" would be the last Speaking in Tongues song I'd want to hear in an arcade, but the rule is when you have a Talking Heads cassette in your hand, you play it.

Am I the only one who thinks Dan looks terrible with the (mostly) shaved head?

I don't know about Dan with short hair.

This would be a better song, or maybe Once in a Lifetime. I guess since its supposed to be a relaxed atmosphere, This Must Be the Place isn't so odd.

Man, that Gauntlet 3 is nuts - I remember playing Gauntlet 3 on the Spectrum and it was some isometric thing with only 8 enemies attacking at once. Atari freaking lost it.

That retro arcade is super impressive!

Keepin it moist and lubed up, and bringing it up the rear. UPF off to a good start so far.

Edit: and now playin some HARMO, right on. Jankyness is always fun to watch on these.

As someone who is currently running a D&D 5th edition campaign I can honestly say it's not a successful session unless one player is dead and pissed.

Retro Arcade just seems like the best thing.

Jason yelling, "YEAH!" when the SF2 attract screen appeared made me laugh.

Watching that fighting game has put me in the mood to go watch some old horror movies again. I really appreciate the effort they had to put into the special effects and gore before they could just go "fuck it, let a computer take care of it."

Also the sprites in the game are really amazing.

For a moment I thought the crew was playing Game Room from the image but I don't see any Avatar with their arms outstretched so I know it can't be right?

@headshot2391: You probably have it sorted by now, but my first download was also weird and broken. I scrapped it and redownloaded from location #2 and got everything working fine.

Also neither of them could be automatically recognized/opened as a rar file; I had to open 7zip first and extract them from there.

@illrepute: I will try again, both links were not playing nice at the time.

Let's hope it works this time, watching Brad play it made me really excited to give it a go

Oh man, it's been a while since I've seen a Lynx! I remember playing Batman on the original one... not comfortable but it was a pretty good game from what I remember.

New Retro Arcade just makes me miss arcades. Time to download!

If I remember correctly, you could run 2 joystick/gamepads off a single midi game port, but you were limited to each controller only having 1 axis pair and 2 buttons. You then needed a y adapter or some later devices had a passthrough. Fortunately, One Must Fall: 2097 was a 2 button game.
