You mean the Pride announcer. That's Lenne Hardt (sp?) also known as the Screaming Pride Lady. Pretty sure she's done voice work so could be her.

I love it when Jeff makes guitar noises.

I love that Jeff 'played' an entire round without realizing he wasn't actually controlling either fighter.

Pride mode looks awesome, happy to see computer Jon Jones win, and this game looks pretty sweet overall!

I will say this, Cain Velasquez was a bad dude until last year he was knocked the fuck out by Junior Dos Santos in 63 seconds, and Dan henderson still fights, but Liddell and Lesner don't fight anymore.

Jon Jones from that ai fight choking out Bob Kelly and Jim Norton [comedians] on Opie and Anthony,this was this past monday he was in promoting the game.

Boxing if actually much more dangerous than UFC/MMA due to being able to get back up and suffer multiple concussions in the same fight. In the UFC if you're out you don't get a ten count fight is over and you aren't allowed to fight again for months.

The guys should do a TNT of this where they all make their likeness in game and fight each other in a tournament.

To be fair to him he thinks of it as the old days still. A lot of people do, which is why the sport has such a negative vibe. Most still think of it as a 500lb man fighting a small karate dude, with no rules. Plus old school boxing fans just will never dig it. It's a sport for a newer generation. It can be a lot to process.

Yeah, its a sad thing, the example of this is Gerald McClellan. If you watch the fight where he got his brain damage its pretty hard to tell exactly what is happening to him.

You've obviously never watched any modern MMA. The fighting is HIGHLY technical. MMA fighters need to know multiple marital arts techniques, be great boxers and great wrestlers, and know all the submition techniques.

Jeff/Vinny discussion on violence:

Jeff's brutally honest excitement for people trying to kill each other in 'blood sports' is consistent. It is just the next step for guys who like to sit at home and play video games? I don't condemn it at all. It's his business.

The main adrenaline rush playing video games IS the VIRTUAL aspect of it: allowing average guys to taste the forbidden fruit: Mortal Kombating somebody into pieces; killing hordes of dudes with different (virtual) guns or using a chainsaw & cutting somebody into halfs. That's part of the 'fun' of video games. You don't do it for real. Most of us would never WANT to.

My personal experience - having been in bad street fights and seen shit in the Army - you lose the stomach for any of this happening on your screen, the older you are.
