Quick Look: Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

i'll probably pick up the game of the year edition of this that will come with the 500 other characters that they'll add and make people pay 10$ for each pack.

Got it and while I'm sucking using the controller, planning on getting arcade stick for it :P I find it way more compelling to play than SF4

GUYS ask me personally about some Marvel stuff... cause you guys are hurting my ears with your lack of knowledge.

GAMEPLAY ASIDE, I know you can't please everyone but this roster is just not for me. Yeah let's put c.viper, chris the rock-puncher, dreadlocks nathan, trish and fanservice trio from DS in... what I dont even. Or perhaps it's just the art style that, to me, makes everyone look really... wrong...

This is the official sequel to Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Galactus attacks the earth. Jeff Gerstmann saves it.

e: C. Viper had some of the flashiest moves in SF4, making her perfect for this game. I'm actually really glad she made it in.

These games are not for everyone that's for sure.  They're always fun to watch though.

Hey Brad, Tekken 6 has all characters unlocked from the start.

MvC2, for me, was always the Friday-Saturday night game between friends locally.  I'm interested in this, but I just don't know if I could get into the ultra-competitive online scene for this game.  Playing with old friends isn't really an option anymore.

I have the strangest urge to go out and play the 2008 Bionic Commando. :u

That was more of the exception than the rule, as far as the rest of the series is concerned. Same with Dark Resurrection. "

Tekken has always had the best training mode. Input recording, detailed dummy options(i.e. setting the a.i. to do specific combos) and showing you what each move looks like, 10 hit strings and custom combos included.

Taskmaster sounds like Tim Allen when he says "You're in for a world of hurt!".

MvC2 was the game of choice in the dorm days of yore ... can't wait to play this in a living room full of drunken idiots and re-live the college days

Great game but I can't play more than 10 matches or I start getting blisters on my thumbs.

The fact that the camera doesn't move or zoom out, resulting in characters being off-screen a lot of the time, is really shitty.

 indeed, I undertand the reasoning of putting DMC3 dante in but it kinda makes less sense when you put DMC4 Trish. C.Viper make almost no sense to include, sure I like her but shes mostly a captain commando clone.  I think nero would be awesome, imagine all the devil bringer action! As for the precedent I mentioned, both are original characters in the 4th installment of their series'. "
