edit: So stoked for this game to come out finally. I'm going to be absolutely terrible at it but there's something about this series that makes my friends and I laugh like a bunch of school girls. I know it's a deeper fighting system than a lot of people give it credit for, but I think one of the things that has made it successful is that it's flashy enough for idiots like me to enjoy the pretty colors while we get destroyed.

Oh man not out in the UK until the 18th! Also this game needed some Rival Schools guys.....But i'm still pretty much jazzed for this game.

It's a pretty rad looking game.

I bought MVC2 off PSN but never played it more than a few times. This seems cool

On the one hand I'm glad I opted to import and probably save around $30-$40, on the other I'm bummed that it'll probably take an extra week or two to get here and I can't wait to get my hands on it. But I have to. Ugh. Anyway looks great.

Haha, I caught the audio version earlier today (horrible University WiFi = horrendous video streaming). Really intrigues me. If only I enjoy fighting games!

The last fighting game I played with any regularity was Street Fighter II on the Genesis. Since then, fighting games have apparently gone bonkers crazy.
 
I just don't see the appeal. I mean, if you've been into fighting games all this time, I see it. But I can't imagine someone new to the genre looking at games like this wanting to jump in. Even if they did, where would they start?
 
IDK, I could be talking out my ass here, but it seems like a fading genre. (Fading, not necessarily dying)

simple mode was in MvC 1 so its not new to the series

...just got real

Really surpised in the section before the training mode that they don't display the button/stick moves on screen & have to pull up another menu to look it up. Overall looks like Capcom could have done a bit more on the polish for the UI & menus of the game.   
 
No surprise that some PS3 users have this, at times that console seems so cracked to hell that playing online wouldn't be all that fun if enough people are hacking up the save games to boost to the end.

I love when Jeff plays on easy then complains about easiness. 
PS, dude in the back is Tron Bonne's brother/henchman. 

I find it sad that they keep referring to Amaterasu as "that dog" and "the wolf."
 
Okami is one of the best games I've played in a long time. 
 
Anyways, as for the game - not for me. I don't like fighting games all that much, and this seems like utter insanity haha.
