Dan, I grew up in Manhattan and have lived my whole life in NYC - I think you should consider Long Island City, an up-and-coming neighborhood one subway stop from Manhattan into Queens. You can live in a really nice new building with decent space, a gym, a pool, doormen etc. for way less than it would cost to live in Manhattan even without those amenities. I was raised in Manhattan and have lived in Williamsburg and Greenpoint but Long Island City is developing quickly and a much easier commute to Manhattan than Brooklyn (it takes me 15 minutes door-to-door to get to my office at 59th and Park in Manhattan).

Dan is crazy, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures is a real Zelda game (not a party game) and is great!

7 hours of Shenmue sounds interesting. Hope the descent into insanity is captured in the audio.

Also nice to have them talk about some smaller pax games. Desync, Tokyo 42 and Battle Chef Brigade sound promising.

Time to start murmuring about The Legend of Scanlon i guess.

Dan and Vinny have made for a very good comedic pairing, mainly because Vinny's particular brand of lovable left field shit keeps catching Dan unawares. I'm very happy that this will continue to be a thing.

I'm really glad someone said the words "Frank Ocean". Now they need to do a 5 hour podcast about Blond.

Majora's Mask deserves a nod just because how dark some of those Day 3 stories are. They're almost a psychological horror level of dark.

Zelda 2 fucking sucks. Tons of ambition, none of it realized. You Zelda 2 apologists are bringing my piss to a boil. The gameplay, the main part of the goddamn game, sucks shit. Always has, always will. You wanna give it points for trying stuff? Cool. It's still one of the worst Zelda games ever made, only topped by the CDI bullshit.

Zelda 2 was fucking ahead of its time - great side scrolling gameplay, soundtrack, great open world, Zelda 2 set the bar for many future Action/RPG games, just like many Zelda games after it. Its Still one of the most talked about games in the history of gaming - a testament to its greatness. And comparing Zelda 2 to the CDI bullshit is borderline criminal.

Majora's Mask is always going to be my favorite. It's just so weird and dark and sinister. It sucks that so many people dismiss it out of hand because of the time management element.
