    The Rodneys' most memorable appearance in video games is at the end of the first stage of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, just before the players reach Rocksteady.

    The name Roadkill Rodney is never used in the TV series and was instead given in the instruction book for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game. As the robots had no proper name otherwise, this name stuck for referring to the robots as a whole.
