Raymond Herbert Wise was born on August 29, 1947 in Akron, Ohio. He attended the Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. While Wise has had a rich career for many years, one of his most notable roles is considered to be the role of Leland Palmer in Twin Peaks. More recently he has been guesting in television series' such as Burn Notice, Shark, Six Degrees, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Bones and Closer. He also has a recurring role in the new television series Reaper, playing the role of The Devil himself.
