Rattata is a common normal-type Pokemon found in many Pokemon games and first seen in the original Red and Blue games. They evolve into Raticate (Concept) once they reach level 20. When first caught rattata will have very common attacks such as tackle attack.

Rattata is a small purple Pokemon quite obviously based on a rat.

They are very common. They have sharp teeth and will bite anything in an attack. They are small and very quick. Surprisingly, Rattata live peacefully with Pidgey (Concept).

Female can be differentiated from males for their shorter whiskers and lighter fur color.
