Raticate use their whiskers to guide themselves and maintain balance. Without them, Raticate are very slow. The Hyper Fang technique that Rattata (Concept) and Raticate share scares the enemy so much that it's afraid to attack back. It can be found almost anywhere theres food, also in natural areas like planes and savannas. Its a common sight in Kanto (Location), Johto (Location) and Sinnoh (Location).
