Rare has gotten a little crazy lately and finally made a Banjo-Kazooie game on a console. It's good to know that Rare can still crank out something good not involving pinatas. So now that Nuts & Bolts is out in the wild, what franchise should Rare resurrect now? Killer Instinct 3 has been rumored, but it's not official. Maybe they can give Perfect Dark another chance. Then again, a Blast Corps sequel would be my awesome recommendation. Conker? Battletoads? Jet Force Gemini? There's plenty to choose from, Rare. Dig deep!

What Rare franchise should rise from the dead?

no brainer: Killer Instinct 1 and 2 for XBLA to test the market for a new one...
battletoads would be sweet too !
Well, I think Rare should "resurrect" the traditional Banjo platformer. That aside though, I think in today's world, Conker probably has the best chance for a resurrection. A squirrel with a dirty mouth may sell more than any of the others. I think Killer Instinct could do with a resurrection as well.
I would like to a see a modern version of Jet Force Gemini actually. That game was tons of fun. If thats not possible, second on the list would definitely be Conker.

I've played 3 hours so far, I'd say 2 hours have been sheer platforming around the absolutely *gigantic* overworld, 30 minutes have been building, and 30 minutes have been spent accumulating a grand total of 5 jiggies XD
Battletoads was RARE?

I just would like another Tooie-esque game, and that's my problem, because Rare probably wont make one anytime soon."Well, I think Rare should "resurrect" the traditional Banjo platformer. I am excited for Nuts & Bolts' vehicle + platforming, but (until I play the game and decide otherwise), I would've been fine with a straight up Banjo platformer.
I say Perfect Dark because the universe is so rich and with the current development advances since PDZ show that they could do great stuff with it.
Plus if there was a BattleToads sequel at least 2000 gamestop employees would commit suicide.
"^^ Donkey Kong 64 says hi^^"And it was pretty bad, yea? So my point stands. I said "I don't think it works in 3D" not "will work"; I was implying that I recognized Donkey Kong 64 and that it was bad. I owned it, played it, decided the game should go back to 2D. Not all games work in 3D.

I'd like to see a new entry in Jet Force Gemini. I loved that game, it had great exploration sequences with some very good boss battles. But I guess it's unlikely Rare will bring it back. But that's okay, anything they do end up being good.
Except for Dinosaur Planet, of course.

Wasn't that a GOTY contender for 1999? And won in some of them?
