Punch-Out

Punch-Out!! is a series of boxing video games from Nintendo. Punch-Out!! first made its appearance in the arcades in 1984 and was later released on the Nintendo Entertainment System as "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!."  It was later re-released in 1987 as "Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream" due to the expiration of Nintendo's use of the Mike Tyson license. A rumor going on at the time was that the name was changed because Mike Tyson was convicted of rape, however, he was not convicted of rape until a year after the release of Featuring Mr. Dream. Other games in the Punch-Out series include the arcade hit "Super Punch-Out!!" which was released in 1985 and later ported to the Super Nintendo in 1994 and for the Nintendo Wii in 2009.
