Overview
Psychic Detective Vol. 4: Orgel is the fourth game in the Psychic Detective Series (Franchise) developed by DataWest. Primarily a FM Towns series, its third and fourth entries were also released on consoles such as the PC Engine CD-ROM and the Mega CD where they received voiceover tracks and other enhancements. Subsequent episodes would return to being FM Towns exclusives. The story of Orgel (German for "organ", the musical instrument) has a woman in a mourning outfit contact the titular Psychic Detective at his office to find a traditional Japanese doll, kept in her family for generations, which has gone missing due to a supernatural culprit. Curious about the veracity of her story, the detective travels to her remote countryside estate to investigate.
