Not really. In the neighborhood I live in, it seems like more than half of the doorsteps are empty when kids go trick-or-treating (I am talking pre-lockdown). When I was a kid, to the best of my recollection, skipping a few houses was a more infrequent occasion. Maybe the change is just a window into communities atomizing into solipsistic silos in the digital age ... 🎃🤷‍♂️

Die Hard 1-4, Simon Pegg/Nick Frost trilogy, and two more lowkey entries: First Snow starring Guy Pearce and Find Me Guilty starring Vin Diesel.

Well, free speech is more of an issue than some would like to admit. Chris Hedges, long ago, was booted from NYT for opposing the wars in the Middle East; he was then pushed to the margins to Truthdig.com, which was sent into oblivion when the workers tried to unionize; finally, he landed on RT (AKA Russia Today), which has recently been de-platformed because of its affiliation with the Russian gov't (all of Hedges' "On Contact" episodes have been scrubbed from YouTube, for example). Abby Martin is an example of another journalist who has been caught in similar, censorious crosshairs. These are progressives I'm talking about, so it's not like conservatives or Trumpists are the only ones having an "inclusivity" issue.

If Musk's perspective is that the breadth of acceptable free speech on the platform is constrictive for both progressives and conservatives alike, I agree, and I wish him good luck with his mission ...

It's hard to remember, but I'm going to say it was one of the DLCs for Sleeping Dogs (idk which of the three expansions). I enjoyed that game to the point that any reason to spend more time with it was a good reason; so, even though the DLC packs were kind of B-Movie quality, I had a great time playing all of them. 👍

I have been waiting for Square to reboot Kingdom Hearts with a new original cast of characters since everything they've been putting out post-KH2. At this point, I have found it convenient to believe that they are paying Vince Russo to write for them in secret, like Dixie Carter in TNA, and that the madness will never end. I'm not sure I have the stomach to touch the next installment (I've only played the three main games, and it took lockdown to get me to finish KH3), so I think I'm going to peg it here. 😂

Another vote for Alien Hominid. The first game that comes to mind!

It has probably been mentioned, but just to put another drop in the bucket, would really like an option to switch been the default color scheme and a lighter one. It's not as problematic as it could be if only watching videos, but white text on a dark background isn't the easiest on the eyes.

My most nostalgic console is the Genesis. I feel like that console garnered the most social activity, i.e., time with friends and family, so it's produced a lot of memories. The Genesis was the last console whose controller was simple enough for my dad to "get". (Well, aside from the Wii; but I'm not a Wii fan). My mom even played it, she loved the Mickey Mouse games (Castle of Illusion and Mickey Mania).

My most nostalgic game is probably a toss-up between several Final Fantasy's, VII, VIII, and X. I not only remember the games vividly but other things that were happening at the times I was playing each individual game. They're like memory horcruxes.

2Pac & the Outlawz, Public Enemy, KRS-One, DMX, Vinnie Paz, MC Jin, and Ice-T.

For those who remember the Outlawz, they've upped their game since Pac's death; and I consider two of the three remaining members, EDIDON (aka EDI Mean) and Young Noble to be some of rap's best. EDIDON recently released OG EST 1992 as a free mixtape. You can download it by clicking this link.

Young Noble released his first solo album Last Year, Son of God, which IMO was the year's best rap album. Check out the video for his single Control My Destiny. It's dope stuff.
