"I met Miyamoto once. I don't remember it, but I blacked out for three days in 2002 and woke up in a cave in Narusawa with two million dollars and a hastily scribbled note reading 'YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO', so I assume I did."
Sounds like a cool game, although I wouldn't put too much stock in Dan's opinion specifically considering he's said he could play the standard Zelda formula forever and not get tired of it. And yes, Zelda games always review super strongly, even though in retrospect most people acknowledge a lot of those games weren't all that. Not that this isn't one of the better games in the series or doing cool things, but I've been burned enough times that I'll wait to see what people think after the honeymoon is over.
This game is one of the reasons I got a PS 4 for Christmas in 2015. I saw the trailer back in 2015 and knowing it would never come to PC made me crave getting a PS 4. I finally got one and have barely used it but I am hoping that this game makes the purchase worthwhile.
Also if Nier doesn't come to PC around same time I may have to get that for PS 4. Seriously 2016 was the best year for video games I think we have ever had and 2017 is looking to be just as good if not better. Tales of Berseria is already best JRPG I've ever played and now we got stuff like this coming out soon. I can't fricking wait. Great review! Hope we get a quick look soon.
Off topic, but whoa that's a strong endorsement! What do you like about it so much?
