Love the ending of episode 3, such a world expanding moment. They also do a pretty good job following through with this momentum in the remaining episodes.
Yeah, I can't wait to see how they tackle 4 & 5. For me, the end of Episode 3 was where the plot hit its pace and didn't let up again.
@frybird: When you started bringing up other possible AT game genres, the first thing that came to my mind was a Trine-esque puzzle platformer. Light combat, interesting traversal mechanics, and the ability to swap between characters in your party (or play co-op) would be fantastic in that world.
@leftie68: I tend to agree. The reviews I've read gave me exactly the info I needed to know whether the game was for me. Whether it gets a higher-than-deserved (whatever that means) metacritic score or ends up on game of the year lists doesn't really matter to me. I learned from every review that it has a solid story and interesting gameplay but you have to put up with bugs that don't seem to be unusual for the series.
Also, for those on the fence about the PC version on low-end hardware, I'm running an old i5 processor with a GTX 560 Ti and it has run absolutely fine on mostly Medium graphics at 1080p for the first 10 hours. My framerates are generally steady at 45, but randomly dip down into the lower 20s during crowded indoor fights.
