4.5 out of 5 starsBrilliant sense of discovery. Filling out the manual as you go is a great mechanic. Loses a half-star for frustrating/underwhelming combat and some eyebrow-raising late-game puzzles. Watched someone meticulously translate the in-game language during their playthrough and may never been as impressed.

Slay the Spire2017
5 out of 5 starsThe king of deckbuilding roguelikes! The tabletop version is amazing as well, maybe surpasses the original for me just for tactile enjoyment. Getting a great card in your deck in the videogame is satisfying, but not as much as actually holding the actual card in your hand (and then never drawing it when you actually need it!)
Half-Life 22004
5 out of 5 starsStill the best FPS campaign (sorry I haven't played Titanfall 2 yet). Like the combination of shooting with the physics puzzles. Last time I played it, the music and pace honestly stressed me out a little too much, but that might have just been the mental space I was in at the time.
