@krullban: To me the multiplayer isn't supposed to be played like a shooter. It's way less about who's better at aiming than any other shooter. It's more about reading the environment and strategizing where your kills are gonna happen and avoiding the areas where you're gonna get capped. Whoever is most efficient at working the combat areas and finding the kills is gonna win.

That said, I didn't do much PVP combat myself. I did some of the co-op missions, a lot of racing, and I went from level 82 to 100 just doing parachuting solo. Now that I have all the trophies whenever I play it's just to buy whatever clothes have been added in the latest patch and to go exploring on a BMX and try to bust out cool tricks.

I just finished Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. The entire time I was thinking how much it was like FFVII but better, at least in the combat systems and character dialogue. It's not got a huge open world to explore like say, FFXII, but there are a lot of side quests for each town that require a lot of exploring of the surrounding areas. It's also got a bunch of hidden quests that you'll discover if you explore a bunch.

Man, all this love for manuals, but you guys should really be working on your revert manuals. I just unlocked a level where one of the challenges is do 13 revert manuals in a level long combo. The timing seems to be tight enough that if you are just manualling where you should revert manual you won't have enough momentum, and if you land instead of revert manualling you'll have too much momentum.

I can see this game being like OlliOlli. I'll do so many frustrating and impossible challenges but stop with 5 or 6 left.

@oscar__explosion: Interestingly, Uncarted and Assassin's Creed came out in the same week, then Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 also came out in the same week.

@krullban: Yes, it is because you are using freeaim. You're getting match-made with the other <1% of players that use freeaim. I use freeaim for single player and lock on for multiplayer because of this.

@gunstarred: I'd suggest transitioning to expert. The problem with hard is that you're listening to every note but only need to press like 85% of the notes so it fucks with your timing. It's easier when you're listening to every note and pressing every note.

I never played RB3 so I don't know if it's still an issue, but I thought it was garbage in RB when you'd have to go through 6 menus before you can start playing anything. Not only was it a big complaint for me, but all my roommates disliked it as well. When RB2 came along and was even more bogged down with menus we thought "WTF is wrong with them? How is this not fixed?"

As someone who pirates live sports from shady Russian websites I'd say I've seen a dozen different ones just like that in the last 6 months.

This is something you can do in sandbox games like Minecraft and Terraria, though nobody does.

I think Runescape had this, but it was locked away behind premium memberships so I never checked it out.
