My Collection

This is my collection of video games. Included are stories about what I thought about the games and whatnot. The games are sorted by the release of the console and then alphabetically. Many of them won't have interesting stories as I haven't played a lot, but when I do get around to playing a game I'll update the description.

List items

  • Have it complete for the N64. Haven't played this and I don't care for wrestling although I remember my friends talking about this when we were younger.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Haven't played this yet but am really looking forward to trying it, looks very cool and had a few sequels even.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Bought a copy of this and then later bought a copy brand new with a microphone so I could play Seaman. Like this game pretty well even though I know its not that great, plus online no longer supported.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Played the first ten or so minutes of this with a friend to check it out and it looks pretty dumb and I cant wait to play it some more.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Like Blue Stinger.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Played a bit of this with a friend and thought the intro video and story was pretty funny and the game was halfway decent.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Played a bit of this and didn't like it that much. Thought the concept of the game was quite shallow but I will eventually finish it. My thoughts: http://mybrainongames.com/2011/07/26/charge-n-blast-first-impressions/

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Was going to play some Dreamcast games with a friend and thought this would be great so I bought it. The game is crazy fun multiplayer and actually very fun in the puzzle modes.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Man, the intro title song/guy is fantastic! The game is alright, couldn't get used to the turning mechanic in the short time I played it.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Played through a large chunk of this with a friend and thought it was fun, if not a little hard towards the end. Everything about it is crazy and to be expected.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Only played the intro part of this to check if the game had voice acting. I have had the Evolution game for the GameCube long before I had this and just wanted to check.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Only have played this once so far. Was expecting something more "arcadey" but was pleasantly surprised at the game's more challenging approach, aka sim-like qualities.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Bought this in late summer/early fall '09 and have only played a few minutes of it. The only thing I gathered while playing was the game's first-person shooter feeling. Wasn't exactly what I was expecting; looking forward to playing this.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast and the PS2. This is where it's at! One of my earliest DC games, I think I might've beaten it but am not sure. Loved this game, especially for the action-orientated battle system. Want to play through it again. My thoughts: http://mybrainongames.com/2010/12/03/review-grandia-ii/

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Played only a few matches with a friend but I thought this game was super cool. Wanting to play through more of it but I'm sure the single player experience is lacking.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. This game looks stupid crazy and I can't wait to play this.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Along with Death Crimson OX and Fur Fighters, bought this in late summer/early fall '09. Watched my friend play a half hour of this game. It looks crazy complex and a weird hybrid of genres.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Played through an hour or so of this (probably all of the tutorial) and really loved it. I love most cel-shaded games and thought this game's influence from (then) modern Japanese culture was cool. Can't wait to play more.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Along with Death Crimson OX, Fur Fighters and Industrial Spy: Operation Espionage, bought this in late summer/early fall of '09. Played about ten matches versus a friend and didn't like the game as much as I thought I would. Probably ought to check out the source material more and learn some combos.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Who would think this game is terrible? Well it is.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Played this with a friend. My thoughts: http://mybrainongames.com/2011/07/26/mars-matrix-first-impressions/

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. I think my first DC game, must've came as a bundle when I bought my DC used in the mid-2000s. Never played it much as it was a dated sports game when I got it but I thought it looked very good, was pretty fun and thought the menus were wicked.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. I've only played a few versions of Tetris but this is probably my least favorite. Maybe would think different of it had I played online.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Probably played this but don't remember anything significant about it.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Probably haven't played this.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Probably haven't played this.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Probably haven't played this but would like to try it now that I think of it.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Played this a bit versus a friend and found it a little lacking.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Haven't played this much as I had sunk three hundred hours into the GameCube version before getting this.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. My friends and I played a lot of Unreal Tournament on the Dreamcast and a lot of Q3A on the computers at school so I wanted to get this but we didn't like it as much as UT. The computer version is great and have lots of great memories playing this at school.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Bought this in the last few months of 2009 and have only played the intro to check it out. Always heard about this game and am excited to play it. Now however, I've plugged in seven hours and came away not liking it very much. My thoughts: http://mybrainongames.com/2010/08/03/review-record-of-lodoss-war/

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. I've talked about this game enough. Check out my Seaman Journal in my blogs section to see what I mean.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Blew through everything in Sega Rally Revo and saw this at the game store and decided to pick it up. Only played a few races but I can already tell I love the Sega Rally series.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Only played a little of this so far. I originally bought this at a book store for a dollar of something, it didn't have the manual or the third disc. Later bought a complete copy and haven't played it yet.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Bought this March 11, 2010 from my friend and haven't tried it yet. Looks European.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. One of my friends favorite party games. Every time we have a game night we HAVE to play this. For some reason we play a ton of DC games during game nights.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Played through the first half or something. Like this game and find it very intriguing but I don't particularly like it.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Really like this game even though I know it is not great. I've written a review for it here on the site so that's where you can see my thoughts on it.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast as well as a PC version. Only played the PC version to check it out (bought it at a garage sale for a quarter) but found it super complicated at the time. The DC controls are wonky as hell

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Haven't played this yet but it looks pretty whack.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Great game, I love it, check it out.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Haven't played this much but was surprised to see GameSpot gave it a three or something terrible. From what I played I didn't find it to be that bad.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Played a few hours of this and found it to be halfway fun but it never shook it's budget feel.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. One of the games me and my friends (used to) play all the time during game nights. Love this game and even though the DC doesn't have dual sticks, we can adapt.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Only played this a round of two but really need the special Virtual-On controllers to play this game it looks like. Love the art style.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Really have the 2.0 version but it's not on the site at this time and I don't really think it fits.

  • Have it complete for the Dreamcast. Bought this in the last few months of 2009... brand new... for five dollars. My friend and I found this at a liquidation store and were like... what the hell?

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Think I bought this a weekend before Christmas 2009. Always was interested in these games but never had a PS2 when they were out. Have only played the intro and it looks like it could be pretty fun.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Love the show but not the game. My thoughts:http://mybrainongames.com/2011/07/09/aqua-teen-hunger-force-zombie-ninja-pro-am-review/

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought this March 11, 2010 from my friend and haven't tried it yet. Never played an Arc the Lad game before and this won't be my first.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought this for $10 at Best Buy after Christmas of 2008 and haven't even opened it, but I now have a mic for the PS2.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Haven't played this or any other Arc the Lad games; hope this one's good.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought three of these SNK fighting anthologies and played a bit of them all with my friend and as a result don't know enough to tell them apart at this moment. Picked them up for $10 each.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Remember when this and the GBA game came out and this was poor but the GBA game was great. Haven't played this yet but it looks kinda fun.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought this a year or two after it came out as I remember it being a "classic" and I really think it is. The game is fun and even though it's halfway short, I remember it being a blast.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Always thought this was an RPG judging from the name and box art. Played about half of this as one or two characters and like it, don't know if I can finish it though. Will have to do in co-op.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought this sometime in 2009 and haven't played it yet.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. I remember Tips & Tricks talking about this game being a "carpg" and bought it in 2007 or 2008. Really didn't like it when I played it but I'll try it again.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Haven't played this yet.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. My only experience with the Deus Ex franchise. Thought it was cool when I played it but never finished it. Will go back to it and try.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought this sometime in 2009 and haven't played it yet.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Played the GC version a ton and really liked this series but I only ever had the ones that came to the GC. I haven't played this version, would like to check out the different graphics. I sold the GC version because it was a Player's Choice game.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. I bought this for $10 at Target at some point and played an hour or so of it. Found it hilarious at the time that they really ripped off popular cars. Didn't like the game needless to say.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Only played the first hour or so of this and found it to be awesome but also "old-school" difficult. Have really been jonesing to play this recently.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Haven't played this yet, might not.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. I remember when this game originally came out and it wasn't that great but Game Informer really liked it. I played through it and at the time really liked it but I probably wouldn't now. I even played some of the multiplayer with a friend.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought this at Wal-Mart with the EyeToy for a cheap sum in 2007 I think. Read EyeToy: Groove.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought three of these SNK fighting anthologies and played a bit of them all with my friend and as a result don't know enough to tell them apart at this moment. Picked them up for $10 each.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Haven't played this cause I'd rather complete X first.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. I have the collector's edition, bought it during GameStop's first Game Days sale and only payed $10-20. My favorite FF, love everything about the game but I never beat it! Like most of the RPGs on my list, I've really been wanting to replay this. My thoughts: http://mybrainongames.com/2011/04/06/review-final-fantasy-xii/

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought this during the Black Friday sales off of Amazon in 2008 if memory serves. Still haven't opened it but I'd like to find another copy to play.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. I really loved this game. It was very short but I thought it was great the whole time. Looking forward to a PS3 so I can play the sequel.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Think I bought this at a Mervyn's in 2005-2006. Played an hour or two of this and thought it was decent but nothing more than a budget title.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Have played through half of this but only in 2008. It just didn't grab me, perhaps it's just because I'm so late to this party.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. I remember this pretty well as it was one of the first games I bought for the PS2 after I had bought it. I think it was $30 and I bought it at GameStop new. Put a lot of time into this and along with Forza Motorsport 2, it's one of the only "sim" racing games I've sunk a decent amount of time into.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Think I bought this in 2008 and I haven't played this yet.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Haven't played this yet.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Bought this at an F.Y.E. for $5 after seeing it for $30 at a GameStop. Loved this game and beat it in a few sittings.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. Don't think I've played this as I bought it after I had sunk a lot of time into GT4.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. In the summer of 2009 some friends and I were into "beating each other up with plastic swords", kinda like Fight Club, and we played some of this after noticing the similarities. The game was poor but it made me go out and buy Kengo: Legend of the 9 for the 360.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. The game that made me love Suda51. I remember looking forward to this as one of the Capcom 4 and at the time loving cel-shading was the game I was looking forward to most. Beat it and loved it and kinda want to replay now.

  • Have it complete for the PS2. I remember reading about this in Tips & Tricks and thinking it was such a cool concept. Bought it in 2008 I think and haven't played it yet.
