2020 is almost over and I think the only 2020 release I played was the C&C remaster.

I wish they'd shown us how PS5 handles cross-gen titles from the last gen. Back on the shift from PS3 to PS4 you could buy digital upgrades for physical PS3 titles like Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed Black Flag. You'd download digital copies of the PS4 games but had to have the PS3 discs in the drive to play them, I wonder how/if those PS4 downloads run on PS5.

Huh, so the typo in the description mentioned by a post two years after the video was posted has apparently been fixed in the 8 years since.

I generally despise tower defense games, but some of the concepts here are pretty intriguing.

A bit too UI heavy for me though, I think these battles would've been much more engaging to watch without all these glowing green circles and numbers popping off.

Wow, y'all have completely different definitions of ice cream cakes than me. Every ice cream cake I've ever had is a variation of the image to the right, which is basically ice cream lasagna.

Layers of ice cream, chocolate sauce and topping (usually more chocolate, or maybe some berries or meringue) with thin, hard chocolate sheets between. Sometimes there's a meringue foundation serving as the "cake" part, but that's not a necessity. I've never had any with actual baked cake dough in it.

Man the non-host multiplayer experience in this game sure seems rough. I didn't have a single notable issue in 70 hours of solo.

I've played about 40 hours solo and have had a few of the bugs they've encountered, but nowhere near this extent. Died a few times from glitching into the environment when exiting vehicles, but the most discouraging early on was probably losing my first large shredder (which I had just barely had enough resources to make) by having the packaged box fall through the ground and disappear when the printer stacked another box on top of it (the platform I was planning on placing it on).

You joke about the game being set in Denmark, but what if it's set on Greenland? The US tried to buy it from Denmark last year - they could set it during an US invasion or some kind of CIA operation trying to fund a separatist movement or something.

Absolutely love this remaster. Of course sad that the video quality isn't great, but they put out some video explaining why that is. My only real issue with the remastered graphics is that the new water tiles don't repeat very well. The soundtrack is also missing one song, the NOD end theme song Destructible Times. Not sure why that is, since it was Frank Klepacki's band. Bummer anyway, since it was a great song.

It can be heard here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgfVqpxs4CI
