I don't know if I ever "got" a great game. I have gotten several awesome ones.

This is not a castic question. I simply want to hear thoughts on why independent games are getting so much attention. If my own opinion mattersm I think the "independent game" genre is a sham. They are paid and supported by big companies to put out a cheap product. Meanwhile, customers shell out cash thinking they are supporting starving artists. I know actual "independent game" designers, and all they want is to sign with a major company. That doesn't sell the idea of an Indy game company short, but I think the idea has been stratched a bit thin... at least for the nect decade.

In this order: Simpsons, Seinfeld, Cheers, Bob Newhart, Top Gear, Andy Griffith, Married With Children, Night Court, Hunter. I'm not old. I just like older shows.

I basically play by character traits. If I am the classic hero, I do good for the little people. If I am an antihero, I may play the middle until I have to choose, and then go medieval on some tail. The most fun was my wanderer. He went by the name Prisoner, and rarely spoke. Never staying in town for long, he would take quests as they came, but fullfill them as he found them in his wanderings. His soul purpose was to get revenge on those who would see him dead.

It's at $3.80/gallon here, which is not great. But it is not horrible considering NC has some of the highest taxes on gas in the US.

Brian Regan... by far. Followed by Rodney Carrington.
