Since I'm here I'd like to share one of my favorite YouTubers, who was known for the past years for her English covers of anime songs, debuted as a Vtuber a while ago, and here's a sample of her intro, and one of her new original songs. 😎

LeeandLie (amalee), she has 2million subscribers on youtube, but the majority of those was subbed way before she tried Vtubing, primarilyy because of her anime OP and ED covers. 🤩

And here's one of her previous anime covers before she tried Vtubing.

Tokyo Ghoul: unravel.

@cikame: Thinking about why I'm into Vtubers... well, honestly the same reason I'm into anime. It's because the entertainment medium is more broad and not limited by reality, so a lot more "creative" things can get put into the mix. Also it's crazy looking and the bonkers amount of money vtubers make ( ie https://dereproject.com/vtuber/how-much-do-the-vtubers-make-famous-vtubers-income/ ) O_O

also the part why I like "animation" (all types) in general, as a medium of expression, because you can get much more broad and creative with it, than most traditional media... Vtubers included, even though it's a new and slightly weird hybrid of earlier genres. 😁

One thing I think I have gleaned is that the type of ancient Hoplite armor I am trying to make should be worn. It like new pair ow shoes, if I make ist and only wear it once or twice before showing ist off it will be uncomfortable and will not "fit right" until broken in.

While my though was to sew the tunic and undergarments' first and make teh armor later, I think I need to make the armor firs. I cna then wear it in while I fine-tune it to fit.

Second I think I found teh site I need for what they arms should ACTULLY look like. http://www.lloydianaspects.co.uk/armourMaking/hopliteMaking.html

Step one will actully be to make the armor in cardboard to get the size, shape and fit correct. So in fact before I even make the armor I will make a Halloween set of armor made of cardboard and duct tape. Even just saying that makes a whole lot of sense, right? A wearable prototype that needs to be made by Oct 31st seems so logical.

Nice, WHEN, you actually succeed (not if hopefully) in completing this cosplay armor of yours, it will be worth the effort, even if it's not perfect, because you'll have gained an IRL achievement. 😋

Also, just in case I've seen many people go and make and ceaft their cosplay stuff, and there was this totally riducolus video I watched the other day, that you might get a laugh out of. 😉

it's a dude that crafted an impractical Genshin Impact weapon, and also got the costume along with it. 😋

The answer as to which one can only be answered in ten more years; in the meantime choose either one.

"...The only hope you have is to accept the fact that you're already [wrong]. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you'll be able to function as a [console gamer] is supposed to function: without mercy, without compassion, without remorse. All [console] wars depends upon it.”

~ Ronald C. Speirs - Band of Brothers.

this is pretty much true. 😅

although I've been pretty much a PC guy most of my life, as I've never owned traditional consoles, as whenever I played on a console, it was over at a friends place.

Wait, how come the title only came out as "suggestion?" 🤨😮

it was supposed to be longer than that. 😐

it was supposed to say: Suggestion? should reacts be added to GiantBomb forums?

😅 do I need to contact a mod or something since I can't edit the title myself...

ahh, I saw that part of the post was easy to overlook, especially 2 laptops in a row. 😅👇

The laptop I was originally interested in, Acer aspire 5, was sold out as I was waiting for the replies, this is the next best thing I found

@senarmstrong: I honestly thought you were a bot. We get a lot of those around here. Gomen nasai, misuta Robotto.

Anyway. Yeah, I'll cosign what judaspete said. And (assuming that I found the right video), you can unscrew the bottom to make the SSD upgrade; looks like the standard M.2 2280 form factor/physical size if you wanted to buy one sooner rather than later.

anyway, the dude that posted technically IS a robot, since their username is Sen(ator)Armstrong cuz....

NANOMACHINES SON!!! 😉🤣

Yeah, thanks for the heads up. It's a bummer racing games tend to delist so quickly due to all the vehicle and music licenses. I missed out on GRID Autosport because I didn't get the memo when that was taken down.

yeah, this is the case with most of them, with the licenses being technically relatively fast to expire. 😅

@bigsocrates: I've browsed through some key sites, but never actually purchased anything. Which ones would you say are more legit?

CDKeys. I've been using that site since December 2015 and bought 57 games/DLC from them. Full transparency, though: I did get a bad key for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but an e-mail to customer support with a screenshot showing them that the key was used got me a new and working key after a day or two, so I'd say they're pretty trustworthy.

Make that 58. They still have some keys for the Steam version of GTA Vice City for $7.

that's interesting, I may have to check that out, and browse through their inventory. 👍

I don't get the Hawken connection, it's more like.... Aggressive In-Payne.

This feels more fitting for the rollerdrome game context rather than "hawken"? 😅

or could it be "tony hawk-ayne?" 🤣 that's just derpy.

If you're going to send them something, please make sure it's something meaningful/high quality rather than the absolute drek that most people send them.

'I was cleaning out my basement so here's thirty PS Two games and a VHS of a Mario World advert from the 90's'

Please don't do that

this made me snort in laughter. 🤣 that was... horrible.
