Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight and I, ZombiePie, am once again honored to be your host as we look back at the site and staff-related news and best user-created works from the previous week!

Well, there's no dancing around it. Giant Bomb @ Nite returns next Friday & Saturday, June 5th & 6th, from 6PM-12AM PT! As always, you can catch the action on YouTube, Twitch, or giantbomb.com and it is safe to say there will be an endless stream of guests and hijinks this year. In terms of the talkovers, a schedule sshould be up on the site at the start of the week but the staff are ready for the same events as always!

If you are wondering when all of the events themselves start, check out Marino's MASSIVE article on the site that lays out a handy schedule and also includes links to every single streaming event this year during not-E3 2026! Will this be the year the Green Games Showcase actually showcases games that advocate for environmental issues? Probably not, but there's a link to the event if the world is proven wrong!

From engineer Chuck, it sounds like most folks are having a better time with the resume feature. If you notice a video in both your "Resume" and "Watch" tabs, that's because your browser session with it paused saved a new watch state but your other view session finished and marked it watched.

Someone reported ads related to prediction markets and gambling while they were listening to GMM. To clarify, the staff have rules for ads and prediction markets and gambling are not allowed. When reporting episodes with ads violating those rules, Chuck and company need a link and a specific episode to inform their podcast syndication partner. Also, you can report these issues to [email protected] or the "site-tech-issues" channel of the Giant Bomb Discord.

A few people have been asking about reviving or restoring accounts that they did not save by logging into Giant Bomb during the opt-in period. There's some hope for you but your account retore request will have to go through [email protected].

Over on the Giant Bomb Discord, with the link above being an invite, inputnamehere decided to imagine Mike as the protagonist of Mina The Hollower after everyone seems to be calling him a party pooper following his 3.5 star review for the game.

Star Citizen Has Now Crossed $1 Billion In Funding (By: bigsocrates)

Star Citizen has crossed the $1 billion in funding mark. How would you cover that news? Would you side with calling the game a "fraud" or tell people not to yuck yums? I can tell you something right here and right now, if you talk about the game on social media even the slightest bit, the people who play it will find you and ask you be "fair."

Postman Dan got word from Chuck that any Blight Clubs that were previously only watchable in a low resolution should be fixed. The RSS feed has been reset, but if you still are seeing low res videos, try adding the feed to your app again.

I'll also add as a special note that if you find a livestream that isn't on the site, the "Suggestions & Bug Box" board is where you should mention that! Postmandan is still on the prowl looking to resolve any issues.

COOL STUFF I COLLECT IN MY HOUSE (By: splodge)

This list is a shitpost, but I'm not even angry. If you made a list of cool things in your house or apartment, but you had to use the Giant Bomb wiki to list them, what would it look like? If you made your own version of this list, I bet it would be funny.
