    This series of golf games was EA's golf franchise from 1990 to 1998. In '98, EA re-branded the franchise with Tiger Woods' name. This franchise does not include the Tiger Woods PGA Tour games, which is a separate franchise.
     
    A major innovator for golf games, this franchise came up with the now standard "3-click" swing controls, as well as having the first game to have 3D courses ( PGA Tour 96).
