Palworld is a survival game developed and published by Pocket Pair Inc. for PC (Platform), Xbox One (Platform), and Xbox Series X|S.

Gameplay

Palworld is an open world survival game that has players starting from almost nothing. The goal is to survive by catching Pals, eating food, regulating temperature, building a base, ect.

Pals

Pals are creatures that inhabit the world. These Pals can be caught using Pal Spheres and used to help the player battle or work in a base.

Pal Variants

In Palworld a Pal can be a special variant.

Variant Type	Variant Description	Variant Example
Alpha Pal	An Alpha Pal is a "boss" variant of a normal Pal. These are larger than their normal counterparts and will be labeled as a boss variant with an "alpha" logo. These can be found on the overworld, or at the end of a dungeon.	Kingpaca Alpha
Lucky Pal	A lucky Pal is a large variant of a normal Pal. These pals are denoted by a "sparkle" icon in their name as well as the Lucky prefix. A lucky Pal will have a bonus to ATK and workforce by 15% and will give players ancient civilization items when caught.	Lucky Chikipi
Subspecies Pal	Subspecies are variants of a regular Pal that can be obtained by breeding two Pals together or by finding in the overworld. Many of the subspecies are an elemental change to a normal Pal, but some of them are a new species combined from two others.	Jolthog Cryst
